StabilityLogic LLC ("StabilityLogic," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit stabilitylogic.com, use our software products (including the Household Stability Index™ and Rent Reputation Score™), or engage with our consulting services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Identity data: name, email, phone number, company name.
- Applicant data (via our products): income, employment, housing history, financial signals, and payment behavior — provided by rental applicants during our screening workflow.
- Communication data: content of contact-form submissions, consultation requests, and support messages.
- Payment data (if applicable): payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers under their own PCI-DSS obligations; StabilityLogic does not store full card numbers.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, timezone.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, request IDs, response times.
- Cookies and local storage: authentication session, theme preference, active organization.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain our software and services.
- To score rental applications using the Household Stability Index and generate audit-ready decision reports.
- To respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and deliver contracted services.
- To send SMS or email communications you have opted into (see our SMS Messaging Terms).
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and legal violations.
- To comply with applicable laws including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), CCPA / CPRA, and — where it applies to a specific individual — GDPR and UK GDPR.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
For data subjects located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, where GDPR / UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract; (b) our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, product improvement, direct communication with existing customers); (c) your consent (for SMS marketing, cookies where required); (d) compliance with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
- With landlords / property operators who use our software to screen applicants — solely for the purpose of the applicant's rental decision.
- With trusted service providers: cloud hosting, email delivery, SMS routing, analytics, PDF generation, and AI inference. Each is bound by written data-processing agreements.
- For legal reasons: to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or applicable law; to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- In a business transfer: as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections described here.
We do NOT sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.
5. Data Retention
We retain applicant data for the duration required by the landlord's business purpose plus a reasonable audit period (typically 24 months). Contact-form messages are retained for 24 months. You may request deletion earlier — see Section 7.
6. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, per-organization data isolation, request-ID-stamped audit logging, PII redaction in logs, role-based access control (Owner / Manager / Viewer), and rate limiting on authentication and lead-capture endpoints. No system is 100% secure; use strong unique passwords and enable available authentication safeguards.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (subject to legal-retention obligations).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect prior processing).

8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies (authentication session, theme preference, active organization). We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International Data Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States. Where required by law (e.g., transfers from the EEA/UK to the US), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.
